Hello from Forren

Forren is cold and rainy - well, this bit of it is anyway.

Adam and I are having a 'bit-longer-than-a-long-weekend-but-not-as-long-as-a-week' break in Copenhagen. We came here mostly because EUJet had started doing scheduled flights from Manston airport in September and Copenhagen was on the list of destinations, was somewhere we wanted to visit, the flight was cheap and Manston is quite close to us. Then EUJet cancelled their flights to Copenhagen due to lack of demand so we had to rebook with EasyJet flying from Stansted which cost twice as much and was twice as far to travel.

We are staying in a 'B' - that is, it would be a B&B but they don't serve breakfast, which seems to be the norm around here. It is also 4 floors up in a building with no lift, the bathroom is across the corridor and neither of us brought nightwear or dressing gowns but the big plus point is the room has a PC connected to broadband and we can use it for free! Yay!

Did I mention it rains a lot here?

It doesn't sound it but we are enjoying ourselves and we are getting some caching done too. The food in the restaurants is good and all the cafes do hot chocolate with whipped cream on top which is also good.

We have also done lots of walking and I really wish I had brought my pedometer with me so I could impress with some suitably large step stats. Oh, well, it was probably about 15,000 steps or so today. In the rain.
